Med City FC and Minnesota Rush are pleased to announce that they have formed a strategic alliance that will provide numerous benefits to both organizations for the 2019 season and into the future. The new alliance opens expanded avenues to collaboration and the sharing of resources between the two organizations with the common goal to expand on their missions to provide the best soccer experiences in Rochester.
Med City FC is pleased to release its schedule for the 2019 National Premier Soccer League season. The team is into its third season in the league and has expanded its schedule to include more games and to last longer into the summer.
Nicholas Itopoulos is from South Africa. Claudio Repetto is from Italy. Both found their way to Rochester, Minnesota and Med City FC during the summer of 2018. The two were vital to the Mayhem’s success last season and are now set to be teammates at Coastal Carolina University (NCAA D1).
Med City FC has made contract offers to four of its area players to return to the team for the 2019 season. The team will be participating in its third season in the National Premier Soccer League in 2019 and is looking forward to its best season yet. The local players offered new deals are Nate Levy, Tiernan Talbot, Ayo Adebayo and Alan Schembri Wismayer.
Med City FC is pleased to announce that we will be holding our 2019 open tryout for our team! This year, Med City FC will hold two sessions of open tryouts, with each session being available to a maximum of 44 participants. This will allow the Med City FC coaching staff the chance to get a closer look at the players involved. At this point, we’re looking to fill 10 to 12 roster spots for the 2019 season.
Anyone questioning the level of talent that Med City FC, Rochester’s top-level National Premier Soccer League team, has attracted over the last two summers, or the value that players have realized during their time with the team in Rochester, need look no further than the awards garnered by several Mayhem players during this fall’s collegiate season. No less than seven players from the 2018 Med City FC roster have been honored for their performances on college soccer fields all over the country this fall.
